Curator's Corner

Hi. My name is Liz Fuhrman Bragg and I am privileged to be the curator at the International Bluegrass Music Museum. We have been very busy sorting, cataloging, and documenting existing archived items and new items. I am gathering early festival items for the next installment of “The History of Bluegrass Music in Europe and Japan.” I am also working on cataloging the Bill Vernon Collection, which has been very detail-oriented and requires a lot of time, though the collection is very interesting! If someone would like to join me, I am in need of a volunteer. The ideal person would be comfortable using a computer, available during business hours, and would be meticulouslly accurate - speed is not necessary! You would be handling historic LPs and entering the data onto a spread sheet. Once we have the collection catalogued, several dealers are willing to assist us in completing our collection. Come and be a part of history.

Call 270-926-7891, or email me liz@bluegrass-museum.org.
